LIVERMORE – Visiting De Anza College scored three times in the first half on its way to handing Las Positas College a 4-1 Coast Conference North Division loss on Tuesday.
De Anza got goals in the 15th, 21st, and 24th minute to take a commanding 3-0 lead. But LPC finally got on the board in the 35th minute when Rylan Stowell scored his third goal of the season off the assist from Edwin Zabala.
The Panthers closed it out with a final goal in the 65th minute. Despite a tough game in goal, Sean Miller totaled 4 saves for the Hawks.
LPC dropped to 6-7-1 overall and 1-5 in Coast North Division play. The Hawks will look to stop a two-game losing skid next Tuesday (Oct. 25) at 4 p.m. when they host West Valley College in a North Division game.
