HAWKS UPEND OHLONE ON REVENGE TOUR

The Las Positas men's basketball team is surging near the end of the Coast-North season, having earned back-to-back wins.
 
Don't sleep on the Hawks. They're rallying.
 
Las Positas (15-9, 2-6) upended host Ohlone 72-62 on Friday, Feb. 9, shooting 54.2 percent as a team. Sophomore guard Alex Martin (Washington HS) led the way with 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the floor. Freshman guard Elijah Mobley (Weston Ranch HS) had a balanced effort with nine rebounds, nine assists and eight points, and Elliot Mobley (Weston Ranch), Elijah's twin, tallied eight points.
 
The previous week, Las Positas started its conference Revenge Tour by taking down visiting Skyline, 80-76. Elijah Mobley led the way with a season-high 41 points, going 8 for 11 from three-point range. Martin had a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards.
 
The Hawks have three tough games to complete conference play, hosting Chabot on Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m., traveling to CCSF on Feb. 21 and hosting CSM on Feb. 23.
