Hawks cruise to 113-73 season-opening win over Simpson at Tony Costello Tip-Off Classic
LIVERMORE – Sophomore Jordahn Johnson scored 18 points while sophomore Brandon Fisher poured in 17 points to help lead Las Positas College to a 113-73 rout of the Simpson University JV team in its season-opener on Thursday as part of Day 1 of the 16th annual Tony Costello Tip-Off Classic.
The Hawks, ranked No. 10 in the CCCMBCA Northern California Preseason Poll, will face No. 20 Los Medanos College in a championship bracket semifinal on Friday (Nov. 4) at 5 p.m.
