Cavness, Garnett, Manu named "Hawks of the Game" vs. Siskiyous
Las Positas College recognizes the "Hawks of the Game" for their outstanding efforts during competition. The award is designed to be a demonstration of the athletic achievements of Las Positas College student-athletes. It illustrates the unique opportunity junior college provides to compete on the field, on their terms, and for their causes.
Las Positas College has presented the award to Freshmen: Mi'Ari Garnett (G), Ranaye Manu (G), and Monique Cavness (F) for an impressive effort vs College of the Siskiyous. #15 Garnett scored a career-high 23 points, 7 rebounds while shooting 3-9 (33%) from the 3-point line. #10 Manu listed 18 points, 6 rebounds. #22 Cavness earned her first career double-double with a dominating performance scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 block. As the season progresses, Las Positas College will continue to feature the top performances.
