LPC defeats Ohlone 12-8; face No. 1 West Valley on Wednesday
The stage is set for a first-place showdown between State No. 1 West Valley (21-1, 3-0) and Las Positas (17-10, 3-0) in the Coast Conference on Wednesday at West Valley, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.
The Hawks beat visiting Ohlone 12-8 on Sophomore day. Zach Perry led the Hawks with four goals, and Kyle Young added three goals and three assists. Ryan Lichlyter and Patrick Aiello added two goals apiece.
Las Positas is ranked in the "others" category, just outside the top 10.
BIG WATER POLO EVENT: On Friday, Oct 28, LPC is hosting part of the NorCal Crossover water polo tournament (top 4 teams). Outcomes of these games will help seed NorCal playoffs Nov 11-12.
