2015-16

Final CCCAA regular-season poll: finished #8 in the state and #4 in Northern California, its highest finishes ever. Eboigbodin led the CCND with 11.2 rebounds a game. Moses led in assists at 6.4.

2016-17

Final CCCAA regular-season poll: finished #13 in the state and #7 in Northern California. Chaffee led the CCND with 9.9 rebounds a game. Baskett led in assists at 5.9. LPC finshes #5 in scoring (84.6/gm), #1 in rebounding (48.2/gm), and #1 in Blocks (7.4/gm) in the State.

2017-18

Highest CCCAA poll ranking of the season (January, 2018 with a 13-4 pre-season record): #8 in the state and #4 in Northern California. Hundal finished 2nd in CCND/2nd in State with 10.6 rebounds a game. Hundal led the CCND/State in blocks per game (2.7). LPC finshed #8 in scoring in Northern California (80.4/gm), #3 in California for rebounding (45.2/gm), and #6 in Northern California for Blocks (4.0/gm).
  • Coach Giacomazzi won his 250th game after beating Cosumnes River College 59-54 on December 12th, 2017.

2018-19

  • Highlights: Won LPC Tournament (Hayes MVP). Highest CCCAA poll ranking of the season (February 2019 with a 20-5 record): #14 in the state and #6 in Northern California. Hayes Finished 1st in CCND/3rd in State in scoring with 23.7 points per game. Hayes finished 1st in CCND/12th in State with 9.7 rebounds a game. Ketchel finished 1st in CCND/1st in the State with 8.3 assists per game. Oluwosogo finished 1st in CCND/11th in State in Field Goal Percentage (63.2%). LPC finished #7 in the State in scoring (83.5/gm), #5 in the State for field goal percentage offense (49.4%), #2 in State in Assists (19.9/gm), #4 in State in Blocks per game (4.9) and #10 in State for rebounding (40.5/gm).

2019-20

Hayes Finished 1st in CCND/6th in State in scoring with 21.3 points per game. Hayes finished 1st in CCND/2nd in State with 11.4 rebounds a game. Burse finished 6th in CCND/6.4 rebounds per game. Michael Moore finished 4th in CCND/Field Goal Percentage (57.8%). Tyler Langowski finished 4th in CCND/3-PT Field Goal Percentage (39.3%). LPC finished #7 in the State in scoring (86.5/gm), #4 in the State for field goal percentage offense (50.0%), and #5 in the State for rebounding (43.8/gm).
  • Coach Giacomazzi won his 300th game after beating Chabot College 84-80 on February 2nd, 2020.

2020-21

  • Season cancelled due to Covid-19. Participated in two scrimmages vs Skyline College and West Valley College in May 2021 only.

2021-22

  • Highlights: Advanced to CCCAA State Championships for first time in program history, 27-4 overall record set a school record for most wins/best overall record, 12-2 Coast Conference record set a school record for most conference wins/best record, was ranked as high as No. 3 in the state, won 16 straight games, won the James Clark Classic at Cosumnes River (3-0), 16-2 record at home, Jordahn Johnson finished 1st in state and Coast Conference in field goal percentage (75.7%), rebounding was 1st in Coast Conference/10th in state at 11.0 RPG, 16.4 PPG ranked 7th in Coast Conference, Dathan Satchell ranked 2nd in Coast Conference in 3-point shooting (79-182), LPC ranked 7th in the state in scoring at 87.1 PPG, led state/Coast Conference in FG percentage (54.9%), 3rd state/1st Coast Conference in 3-point FG percentage (41.6%). 

2022-23

  • Highlights: Advanced to the “Sweet 16” for the 4th time in 7 years, finishing with an overall record of 19-12, 7-7 in the Coast Conference record good for 3rd place in the north’s #1 conference in terms of strength, won the Tony Costello Tip Off Classic (3-0) and won the James Clark Classic at Cosumnes River College (3-0), 12-5 record at home, Jordahn Johnson finished 1st in Coast Conference in scoring and rebounding, Isaiah Victor ranked 2nd in Coast Conference in Scoring (17.2), and top 10 in 3-point shooting (89-231), LPC ranked 9th in the state in scoring at 85.4 PPG, led state/Coast Conference in FG’s made (999), 3rd state/1st Coast Conference in rebounds per game (43.9).

2023-24

  • Highlights: Coach Giacomazzi won his 300th game after beating Cosumnes River College 76-67 on November 4th 2023. Las Positas College advanced to the post season for the 8th consecutive season under Giacomazzi, finishing with a total of 17 wins, 4 coming in the Coast Conference (North) which was ranked Northern California’s #1 conference in terms of strength, and won the James Clark Classic at CRC (3-0). Alex Martin finished 2nd in the Coast North Conference in scoring and rebounding, as well as 5th in the conference in Field Goal Percentage (48.8%). Elijah Mobley finished #8 in the Coast North in scoring (14.7). LPC finished ranked in the top 25 in field goals made per game (28.8), and top 10 in both Offensive Rebounding (14.2) and Blocked Shots (5.2) in the State.
