No. 19 Las Positas moves to 9-1 with two more wins at James Clark Classic

No. 19 state-ranked Las Positas College went a perfect 3-0, winning its final two games of the weekend at the James Clark Classic at Cosumnes River College. The Hawks closed out the tourney with an 81-75 win over Reedley College on Friday and cruised to a 70-44 defeat of College of the Siskiyous on Saturday.

After dropping its season opener, Las Positas has surged to nine straight wins and is 9-1 overall this season.

On Friday, LPC was led by Jordahn Johnson as he posted his fourth straight double-double, this time putting up 19 points and 10 rebounds in the victory against Reedley.

 Lee Joes, Jr. posted 17 points and Dathan Satchell totaled 10 points, 5 points, and 3 assists.

On Saturday, it was Jorren Edmonds' turn to pace the Hawks as he scored a team-high 18 points to go along with 5 assists in the win over Siskiyous. Edmonds nailed 4 three-pointers on his way to a new season-high in scoring.

Jones, Jr. added 14 points and 4 assists, while Isaiash Victor chipped in with 10 points.

Up next, Las Positas will face its biggest test of the season when the Hawks travel to face No. 2 state-ranked West Valley College on Wednesday (Dec. 8) at 2:30 p.m.
